Overview
Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet UN9K 4 Sensors Viewing Area 100 x 97 mm True Colour Optics 1/1/1/1 For ARC MIG and Plasma

The Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet UN9K protects the eyes and face from the radiation of the electric arc, flying sparks, and radiant heat. Optical clarity 1/1/1/1 represents the highest rating across all four monitored parameters, ensuring that the image through the filter is not distorted, blurred, or colour-shifted at the edges of the viewing area. Viewing area 100 x 97 mm provides an overview of the weld pool and the surroundings, which is appreciated during long welds and when working in confined spaces. True Colour technology renders colours more accurately than standard green filters, making it easier to distinguish heated material from the cool surroundings. The filter cartridge measures 114 x 133 x 10 mm.

  • Four arc sensors — sensors positioned around the viewing area detect the flash even when one of them is covered by a hand, torch, or welded part, ensuring the filter darkens reliably even in inaccessible positions.
  • Switching speed — the filter transitions to dark state in 1/25000 s, faster than the arc can dazzle the eyes.
  • Adjustable delay — you can select the time for brightening from dark to light state in the range of 0.2 to 0.8 s depending on the method used and the size of the weld.
  • External control — the shade knob is located externally, allowing you to adjust the shade level during work without removing the helmet from your head.
  • Shade range — in light state, the filter corresponds to shade DIN 4, while in dark state, you can choose the range DIN 5-8 or DIN 9-13 depending on the welding current.
  • True Colour — more accurate colour representation facilitates tracking the transition between base material and weld, especially with thin sheets.
  • Filter size — the filter cartridge measures 114 x 133 x 10 mm and has a display area of 100 x 97 mm.
  • Wide compatibility — suitable for ARC and MIG welding, for spot, micro, and wire welding, for AC and DC sources, as well as for plasma welders and plasma cutters.
  • Package contents — 1x welding helmet with battery, 1x headband, 1x manual

The helmet is useful for welders, locksmiths, assemblers, and DIY enthusiasts during repairs, construction manufacturing, and locksmith work outside the workshop. Fully automatic switching on and off means you do not need to toggle anything before starting work, and after being set down, the helmet turns off by itself. The external placement of the control speeds up adjustments when changing methods or currents, as you do not need to remove the helmet or reach into it. The combination of four sensors and a very short switching time reduces the risk of dazzling when igniting the arc. It is applicable in locksmith workshops, service centres, and on-site installations.
