The urinary catheter for cats is a veterinary tool designed for catheterising the bladder in cats and tomcats. The catheter has side holes at the end and is supplied with an introducer that stabilises the thin tube during insertion. The transparent tube size 4 Fr has a diameter of 1.3 mm and a length of 130 mm and is finished with a white connector with a flat collar. Each catheter is individually packaged in a transparent blister with a paper backing. The pack contains 12 pieces, which is appreciated by veterinary practices and clinics.
- Side holes – the holes are located on the sides of the catheter tip, while the tip itself is rounded and closed.
- With introducer – the thin metal introducer is inserted inside the catheter along its entire length and has a white handle at the end. The introducer provides stiffness to the thin tube and can be removed after the catheter is inserted.
- Introducer handle – the white rectangular end of the introducer fits into the catheter connector and holds the introducer in place until it is pulled out after insertion.
- Dimensions – size 4 Fr, diameter 1.3 mm and length 130 mm.
- Connector with collar – the white connector at the end of the catheter has a flat collar that provides support for the fingers when handling the catheter and makes it easier to hold during insertion.
- Individual packaging – each catheter is packaged separately in a transparent blister with a paper film, ensuring it remains protected until needed.
- Transparent tube – the transparent material of the tube allows for visual inspection of fluid passage through the catheter.
- Pack of 12 pieces – the catheters are stored in a paper box that contains 12 individually packaged pieces. The larger pack is suitable as a supply for the practice, ensuring you always have catheters on hand.
- Intended use – for veterinary use only in cats and tomcats during bladder catheterisation and urine drainage. Suitable for veterinary practices, clinics, and emergency services.
