Passiflora popenovii Seeds 5 pcs Climbing Vine with Large Flowers and Edible Fruits For Greenhouse or Support
Passiflora popenovii is a rare climbing passionflower sought after by collectors for its large, striking flowers and edible fruits. The robust flower features greenish-white petals, a prominent purple crown made of thin threads, and pink bracts, as clearly shown in the image of the flowering plant. After flowering, the plant produces fruits that are edible, allowing you to cultivate not only an ornamental vine but also your own harvest with a bit of care. The plant climbs using tendrils and easily covers a support, trellis, or pergola. The pack contains 5 seeds, from which you can grow your own plant from scratch. It is grown in a pot with support, in a greenhouse, or in a conservatory.
Key Features:
- Large greenish-white flowers — the robust flower has greenish-white star-shaped petals, which are the main attraction of this rare passionflower and will unmistakably enliven any space.
- Purple crown — in the centre of the flower, a striking purple crown made of thin threads and pink bracts stands out, creating an impressive contrast with the greenish-white petals.
- Edible fruits — after flowering, the plant produces fruits that are edible, thus combining ornamental value with utility and rewarding the patient grower with their own harvest.
- Rare collector's variety — popenovii is a less common passionflower, making it a sought-after addition to the collections of exotic climber growers and appealing to any passionflower enthusiast.
- Climbing vine — the plant climbs using tendrils and produces long climbing shoots, which are suitable for training along a support, trellis, or pergola.
- Pot cultivation — the plant can be grown in a pot with support and can be placed in a greenhouse, conservatory, or a sheltered outdoor location depending on the space available.
- Both useful and ornamental — it combines edible fruits with large decorative flowers, thus merging utility with ornamental value and brightening up any greenhouse.
- Large green leaves — the plant has rich green leaves that give the vine a dense appearance and create a striking backdrop for the eye-catching flowers.
- Pack of 5 seeds — this smaller pack is suitable for trying out cultivation or for collectors who wish to expand their collection with a rarer passionflower variety.
- Growing from seeds — you have full control over the entire development of the plant from germination to fruit harvest and can observe every phase of growth and flowering.
- Suitable for support — thanks to the tendrils, it easily covers a trellis, lattice, or pergola, thus serving as a natural green screen in the greenhouse.
