Tablecloths and table runners
A family lunch, a wedding reception or a children's party starts with a laid table. Tablecloths and table runners include cotton, satin, lace and wipe-clean PVC tablecloths, disposable plastic party tablecloths, checked Christmas tablecloths and table runners made of jute, linen or chiffon. Tablecloth clips and clear protective covers complete the range.

Fabric tablecloths range from small 60 × 60 cm sizes up to 140 × 300 cm, and satin tablecloths for long wedding tables measure up to 145 × 396 cm. Cotton tablecloths often have tassels, while lace ones feature floral patterns or embroidery. A large share are checked Christmas tablecloths in combinations of green, red and blue.
Wipe-clean tablecloths made of PVC keep out water and oil, and round models with an elasticated edge fit tables 114–140 cm in diameter. For children's parties and birthdays, disposable tablecloths made of plastic come plain or with designs, for example in 137 × 274 cm.
Table runners are laid down the centre of the table, on their own or over a tablecloth. Jute and linen runners give a rustic look, sheer chiffon runners up to 10 m long are used at weddings and polyester runners with designs at children's parties. Clips hold the tablecloth in place even outdoors, and a clear round cover protects it from stains.
When choosing tablecloths and table runners, it helps to measure the table and add the drop, usually 15–30 cm on each side.
