A two-litre filling heats slowly, and without mixing, heat is distributed throughout the volume only gradually. The Laboratory Heating Mantle with Mixing and Display JOANLAB HMSC-2000ML therefore combines digitally controlled heating with a magnetic stirrer. The dish accommodates a flask with a volume of 2000 ml and transfers heat through direct contact, while the stirrer keeps the contents in motion throughout the heating process. The temperature is set using buttons in the range from room temperature to 380 °C and remains readable on the display, while the speed is controlled by the knob on the left. The probe on the cable measures directly in the sample, so the heating is based on the actual temperature of the liquid, not from the heated wall of the mantle.

  • Capacity 2000 ml — the dish is shaped for two-litre flasks with a round bottom and distributes their weight over the entire contact surface, so the glass does not sit on just a small point.
