The JOANLAB HM-500ML electric heating mantle heats round-bottom flasks with a volume of 500 ml without the need for a water bath or Bunsen burner. The heating element is positioned around the entire circumference of the bowl, ensuring that the glass receives heat from the entire contact surface, allowing the contents to be heated uniformly throughout the heating process. The rotary controller on the blue panel adjusts the heating power smoothly, and the temperature can rise from room temperature to 380 °C. The red POWER indicator signals connection to the mains, while the green HEAT indicator lights up when the mantle is heating. The half-litre volume is one of the most common sizes for synthesis, extraction, and heating reaction mixtures in both teaching and practical applications.
