The Heating Mantle with Magnetic Stirring JOANLAB HMS-250ML combines two functions that are often needed simultaneously in the laboratory: heating and stirring the contents of a flask. The dish is shaped for round flasks with a volume of 250 ml and transfers heat to them across the entire contact surface, while the magnetic stirrer beneath it rotates the stirring element inside the glass. Heating covers a range from room temperature to 380 °C, controlled by the left HEAT button, while stirring speed is managed by the right STIR button. Both functions have their own indicator lights, so you can see whether the device is currently heating, stirring, or both. The smaller volume is suitable for preparing solutions, dissolving solids, and for school experiments.
