In Wasteland 3, you will take command of a squad of Desert Rangers, lawmen and women in a post-nuclear world, trying to rebuild society from the ashes. More than a century after the bombs fell, you lead a losing battle to keep your beloved Arizona alive. Then, the self-proclaimed patriarch of Colorado sends out radio transmissions, promising help if you undertake a task he can only entrust to outsiders – to save his land from the ambitions of his three bloodthirsty children.
You are sent on a desperate mission from the burning deserts to the snow-covered mountains to start anew, establish a new base, find a vehicle suitable for snow, train new recruits, and fight your way through hostile frozen wastelands. All the while, you will have to decide whom to trust in this land torn by corruption, intrigue, warring factions, crazed cultists, cutthroat gangs, and bitter sibling rivalries. Build your reputation by making decisions that will profoundly affect Colorado, its inhabitants, and the story you will experience. Will you be Colorado's saviour or its worst nightmare?
