The Valkyries, warriors fallen in battle, have transported your soul to Valheim, the tenth Norse world. Besieged by creatures of chaos and ancient enemies of the gods, you are the latest guardian of the primordial purgatory, tasked with defeating Odin's ancient rivals and establishing order in Valheim.

Your trials begin in the disarming calm of Valheim's centre, but the gods reward the brave, and glory awaits you. Venture into imposing forests and snow-capped mountains, explore and harvest valuable materials to craft deadlier weapons, sturdier armour, Viking strongholds, and forward bases. Build a mighty ship and sail across vast oceans in search of exotic lands... but beware of straying too far...

  • Build ships and sail them – from rickety rafts to imposing warships, construct legendary vessels to conquer the seas and discover new lands.
  • Summon and defeat vengeful primordial bosses from myths and legends, collecting trophies for progression and crafting new powerful items.
  • Flexible building system for homes and bases – construct longhouses, farms, settlements, castles, and more.
  • Intuitive crafting – forge the best weapons and armour and brew food and mead.
  • Dedicated server – for players who want to run a persistent server. If you do not wish to run a server on your own computer, consider renting a server from G-Portal.
