Turbo Overkill, heavily inspired by some all-time greats such as Doom , Duke Nukem and Quake , with stunning cyberpunk visuals, is the wildest FPS ever released by Apogee. You play as Johnny Turbo, half metal, half human, half insane, equipped with hidden arm rockets and a chainsaw protruding from your shins that allows you to slice enemies wide open.
In this hellish environment of Blade Runner meeting DOOM , Johnny returns to his hometown of Paradise and finds its entire population possessed by Syn, a malevolent AI, and its army of augmented minions. Johnny desperately craves enough money to overcome his past mistakes and takes on the impossible task of destroying the greatest artificial intelligence ever created. Competing bounty hunters want to claim the prize first. Nothing is easy in Paradise.
Turbo Overkill pushes the peak to never-before-reached heights. Activate Hero Time(™), a new form of slow-motion action. Build incredible speed by running on walls and dashing. Slide onto the chainsaw's foot, gut enemies, and open bosses for critical damage, then go car-surfing on the hoods of flying cars. Snipe with Twin Magnums that lock on and instagib multiple enemies, the Boomer Shotgun with its attached grenade launcher, or the Telefragger sniper rifle that teleports Johnny inside an enemy before they explode from within. The FPS genre will be wild and fun again.
Race through two dozen stages packed with secrets, bonus arena stages, and combat puzzles with white knuckles.
