Turbo Overkill, heavily inspired by some of the greatest of all time, such as Doom , Duke Nukem and Quake , with stunning cyberpunk visuals, is the wildest FPS ever released by Apogee. You play as half metal, half human, half insane Johnny Turbo, equipped with hidden arm rockets and a chainsaw protruding from your shin, allowing you to slice enemies wide open.
In this hellish environment of Blade Runner meeting DOOM , Johnny returns to his hometown of Paradise and finds its entire population possessed by Sin, a malevolent AI, and its army of augmented minions. Johnny desperately craves enough money to overcome his past mistakes and takes on the impossible task of destroying the greatest artificial intelligence ever created. Competing bounty hunters want to claim the prize first. Nothing is easy in Paradise.
Turbo Overkill takes the peak to never-before-seen heights. Activate Hero Time(™), a new form of slow-motion action. Build incredible speed by running on walls and dashing. Slide onto the chainsaw foot, gut enemies, and open bosses for critical damage, and go car-surfing on the hoods of flying cars. Snipe with Twin Magnums that lock on and instagib multiple enemies, the Boomer Shotgun with its attached grenade launcher, or the Telefragger sniper rifle that teleports Johnny inside the enemy before they explode from within. The FPS genre will be wild and fun again.
Race through two dozen stages packed with secrets, bonus arena stages, and combat puzzles with white knuckles. Find game-changing collectibles and unlock punishing modifiers like triple monster speed and insta-kill. Combine all of Johnny's weapons and abilities to outsmart, overpower, and outrun the corrupted legions.
