Touhou Spell Carnival Story
Gensokyo — A remote land isolated from the outside world, where humans and youkai live side by side.

One day, the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, Reimu Hakurei, sees mysterious pillars towering over various locations throughout Gensokyo.

These pillars signal the beginning of the Spell Carnival, a festival hosted by Yukari Yakumo, where one must battle to lay down their spell cards.

To investigate the true intentions of Yukari Yakumo, who so suddenly initiated the Spell Carnival, Reimu Hakurei engages in the battle for spell cards.

  • Strategic RPG meets Bullet Hell Mania — Fight in a grid system with a unique combination of real-time strategy elements and bullet hell madness! Hone your strategic skills by moving characters to grid-specific areas, dodging enemy bullets, and unleashing special abilities in one simultaneous action-packed battle!
  • We must stay prepared — Don't enter battle unprepared! Arrange your party's placement on the grid, assign skills according to your enemies' weaknesses, and wisely choose which spell card ace to use.
  • Need support? — Players will occasionally see items and attributes during battle. Objects can block incoming bullets and provide additional effects upon destruction. Attributes can offer enhancements and status effects. Use these enhancements to your advantage, and you might be able to collect extra loot from your victories!
  • Find peace at the Hakurei Shrine — Explore the Hakurei Shrine through the lens of Reimu Hakurei! Keep track of all active missions, revisit side events, strike a pose in photo mode, and even chat with some of your favourite characters from the Touhou project at the Hakurei Shrine as you progress through the story!
