Features

  • Multiplayer - Play co-op with your friends over LAN or online for free. No subscriptions, no item sales. Our new matchmaking service allows you to find friends, start new games, and join existing games. And as always, you can play single-player offline too.
  • Customisable Characters – Players can create and customise a character from one of four all-new classes. Each class can be played as male or female, with customised cosmetic elements and appearance to make each individual character stand out. All-new skills and loot provide plenty of opportunities to create a unique character.
  • Moddability – TorchED, the Torchlight II editor, gives players the ability to create their own mods and add even more content to the world. Ask your friends to download the same mod and play together. TorchED will be available as a standalone download shortly after launch.
  • New User Interface – Torchlight II boasts a new and improved user interface designed to make it easier for new players to pick up and play than ever before. This intuitive interface ensures that you can focus on playing the game the way you want.
  • Open World - We are no longer just in the town of Torchlight! Explore vast mainland areas and several central cities, battling through rain, snow, day and night. Our level randomisation ensures new layouts, paths, loot, and monsters every time you play.
  • New Game Plus – In New Game Plus, the game isn’t over until you say it is. Once you defeat the primary campaign of Torchlight II, you can start again with the same character for a significantly greater challenge. All the skills, gold, and equipment you worked so hard for will remain with you!
  • Pets & Fishing – These beloved features return in Torchlight II in an enhanced form. More options, better effects, and your pet will still run to town to sell your loot so you don’t have to.
