It’s not impossible to breathe at the border post. Just impossible to catch your breath. Every effort is another step in the grave. Every blow on the whistle is a death sentence. Your only reward is air canisters on ration for your good work. So be a better worker.
There are no shortage of tasks to keep you busy during your shift. Deliver messages. Clean the water filter. Collect discarded wood. And don’t be afraid of that smell.
Mo is your friend and colleague at the Border Post. His shift has ended, but if you call, he’ll gladly come running. He’ll answer any questions you have. Well, except for that question. He wouldn’t lie to you. Don’t make him.
