The Tale of Bistun is a narrative action-adventure game inspired by the tragic 12th-century poem „Khosrow and Shirin“. You play as a stone sculptor who awakens on Mount Bistun, with no memory of how he got there. A sinister mould has spread, bringing many dangerous foes. You must fight mythical enemies and travel between the real world and the ethereal realm of forgotten memories to uncover the secrets of your past.

On the rocky slopes of Mount Bistun, a stone sculptor awakens with no recollection of who he is or how he arrived there. He soon discovers that the mould is draining life from nature, tainting the local wildlife and turning it against him. Encouraged by a peculiar, pleading whisper, the man journeys between the real world and the mysterious realm of forgotten memories, known as Revelations Realm, in search of answers. But a colossal ancient evil watches, waiting, and is not pleased that its plans are being disrupted.
