Players will be drawn into the brutal journey of Jackie Estacado, head of a New York crime family and bearer of an ancient and merciless force of chaos and destruction known as The Darkness.
It has been two years since Jackie Estacado used The Darkness to kill the man responsible for his girlfriend's death. Since then, he has struggled to suppress his supernatural abilities, unable to stop thinking about Jenn's death, and now The Darkness is trying to break free once more. Suddenly, out of nowhere, an unprovoked attack by a mysterious organisation known as The Brotherhood heralds the start of a true war and reopens the doors to The Darkness - Jackie embarks on a journey into the very depths of hell.
