The Axis Unseen is a heavy metal horror game created by one of the developers of Skyrim, Starfield, and Fallout.

Hunt monsters from ancient folklore in a mysterious open world, collect their enhanced senses, and discover elemental arrows.

Beware, the hunter is also hunted.

  • Track and hunt folklore monsters
    Hunt monsters from folklore. Track their footprints and bloody trails. Be mindful of the wind direction so they do not sense your approach.
  • Primitive metal soundtrack
    The Axis Unseen features original music by Clifford Meyer, formerly of the legendary post-metal bands ISIS and Red Sparowes. It is a unique blend of heavy metal and primitive instruments. The music dynamically adapts to the events in the game. Sometimes it is atmospheric, other times intense metal.
  • Enhance your senses
    Enhance your senses using the powers of creatures. See scent particles. Feel the warmth they left in their tracks. Observe colours that no one has ever seen.
  • Unique types of arrows
    Your bow and arrow will keep you alive. Upgrade your bow or even find different types of arrows, such as fire, wind, or time-warping arrows. Experiment to see all the different ways arrows interact, such as wind arrows that make fire spread faster.
  • Uncover the secrets of hunters
    Discover what happened to the hunters who came before you, and what secrets they uncovered by examining their journals and sketches. Where did this world come from? How will you prevent creatures from escaping into your world?
