Jan Dolski is an ordinary worker facing impossible odds. Crash-landing on a distant planet, lost and alone, he seems trapped with no way out. Jan's only hope for survival is to enlist additional helping hands aboard his mobile base... but how? Jan improvises on the go and uses the local substance Rapidium to create alternative versions of himself: THE ALTERS.
Have you ever wondered how your life would change if you had chosen a different path in the past? Who would you become? Jan Dolski is about to confront the answers to these questions, making his dire situation even more daunting. Each of his alters has a different personality and background, as his life path is the result of specific changes in Jan's life.
To return home, Jan must not only come to terms with his alterations but also face the crucial decisions he made in the past. The choices he makes based on this can sometimes jeopardise someone's life. The question is – are you ready to deal with the consequences of these decisions?
A RACE AGAINST TIME
The planet Jan has landed on is slowly turning towards a giant sun. This means that radiation levels can quickly reach critical levels. Surviving on this merciless planet is a race against death, so the base where Jan lives must remain mobile. This, of course, is much easier said than done. The planet is extremely inhospitable and full of many challenging obstacles that our Jan will have to overcome.
To navigate the barren landscape, you need food, fuel, and other precious resources. Fortunately, your base is ready to gather them from the planet's surface. The only problem is that finding these sought-after resources can be quite challenging… and time is running out.
