Subnautica Steam Account

Release Date: 23/01/2018

Subnautica is an open world, underwater exploration and adventure game currently being developed by Unknown Worlds, the independent developer behind Natural Selection 2.

Features

  • Dive into a massive underwater world - After an emergency landing on an alien ocean world, the only way is down. The oceans of Subnautica range from shallow sunlit coral reefs to treacherous deep-sea trenches. Manage your oxygen supply while exploring kelp forests, plateaus, reefs, and winding cave systems. The water is teeming with life: some of it helps, much of it harms.
  • Scavenge, Craft, and Survive – Upon waking in your Life Pod, the clock is ticking to find water, food, and develop the equipment you need to explore. Gather resources from the ocean around you. Craft knives, lights, diving gear, and personal watercraft. Venture deeper and deeper to find rarer resources, allowing you to craft more advanced items.
  • Disrupt the food chain – The ocean is teeming with life: Use the ecosystem to your advantage. Lure and distract a threatening creature with fresh fish, or simply swim as fast as you can to avoid the snapping jaws of prowling predators.
  • Fear the Night - As the sun sets, predators emerge. The ocean is unforgiving to those caught unwittingly in the dark. Areas that are safe to explore during the day become treacherous at night, but also reveal beauty that those hiding from the darkness will never see.
  • Shape the World - The seabed of Subnautica is presented using a dynamic voxel terrain system. Dig caves to hide, store loot, or shortcut cave systems. Vehicle impacts or even exploding creatures will change the way the world looks.
  • Go Below The Deep - Cave systems wind beneath the seabed, from dark claustrophobic corridors to caves illuminated by bioluminescent life. Explore the world beneath the ocean floor, but watch your oxygen levels and be wary of threats lurking in the dark.
  • Open Development – Get weekly or daily updates, see what the development team is working on, view change logs in real-time, and provide feedback from within the game. The development of Subnautica Early Access is open and the development team wants to hear your thoughts.
