Aiko's Choice is a brand new standalone expansion of the popular stealth tactics game Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, set in Japan during the Edo period.
Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun - Aiko's Choice focuses on one of the main protagonists of the game: the kunoichi apprentice Aiko. She is a master of disguise and distracts enemies while disguised as a Geisha. Although Aiko was confident that she had left her old life behind, her former sensei, the cunning espionage master Lady Chiyo, re-emerges from the shadows to challenge her. Along with her deadly companions, she embarks on a quest to hunt the ghosts of her past...
The expansion includes three full main missions set in entirely new environments and three shorter missions with breaks.
In the style of the main game, you will take control of a team of deadly specialists to sneak through the shadows among dozens of enemies. Choose your approach when infiltrating enemy bases in hidden forest camps or bustling Edo period towns. Set traps, poison them, and distract your opponents – or completely avoid contact with the enemy. Carefully plan each of your moves and devise your own clever tactics to defeat enemies and complete each of the challenging missions ahead of you!
Note: You do not need a copy of Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun to play Aiko's Choice. While you can enjoy this standalone expansion on its own, we recommend playing at least a few of the first missions of the main game to get an idea of the game mechanics, characters, and story!
