The insatiable global demand for entertainment has turned to bloodlust, as entertainment giant TEC1 premieres the second season of its television sensation SCUM. This new season shifts the competition from brutal, enclosed arenas to lush forests, rolling fields, and rugged terrains of the private island SCUM TEC1. Fans and new inmates will clash in a relentless battle for survival while vying for the support of viewers, producers, and corporate sponsors for fame, prizes, and a chance at life after death.

SCUM aims to develop an open-world multiplayer survival game with unprecedented levels of character customisation, control, and progression, where knowledge and skills are the ultimate weapons for long-term survival. By combining methodical planning and management of hardcore survival with optional PvP 'network events' available to anyone at any time, SCUM creates a unique balance between complex simulation and intense action in the next generation of survival games.

  • Complex Simulation: SCUM utilises dozens of intricate systems that allow players to manage their character as deeply as they choose. Players can delve into the details of the survival experience through systems controlling their character's metabolism, inertia during movement, and even how quickly layers of clothing dry on and off the body.   • Massive Landscape: Traverse and explore 144 square kilometres of terrain that includes dense forests, picturesque beaches, tranquil fields, abandoned towns, and derelict airports. Initially, the massive terrain will be navigated on foot, and as development progresses, vehicles will be introduced for faster movement.
     
  • Network PvP Events: Join ongoing TEC1 network events by clicking a button and be transported to enclosed areas of the island where you can engage in PvP. Volunteer for the event and face off against other inmates for glory points and high-value loot for those who survive.
     
  • Game Expansion: While the current version of SCUM already includes basic crafting, combat, and customisation systems, the feature set and gameplay will continually expand to include more advanced mechanics, greater variety in gameplay, and a meta-narrative for players to complete missions in hopes of one day escaping the island...
     
  • Online Multiplayer: Survive with up to 64 players on a server with the option to rent your own server directly from the in-game menu.
