Resident Evil 6, combining action and survival horror, promises a dramatic horror experience for 2013. Favourite characters from Resident Evil, Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Ada Wong, join new characters, including Jake Muller, to face a new terror, the highly virulent C-virus, as the story unfolds across North America, the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia, and the Chinese city of Lanshiang.
Resident Evil 6 begins with three distinct yet intertwined story threads, each featuring its own pair of protagonists for solo and cooperative play, whether offline or online. The game not only offers different perspectives and gameplay styles, but with the introduction of innovative Crossover mechanics, players can connect and share the horror. At key moments in the game, up to four players can connect online to tackle specific situations, with usual partnerships swapping in some levels to further enhance gameplay depth.
Once players complete the first three campaigns, a brand new campaign featuring Ada Wong, the femme fatale of the Resident Evil universe, will be unlocked. Ada's campaign, designed for single-player, offers unique missions, gameplay, and weapons that provide answers to unanswered questions from the first three campaigns.
