From the ashes of old conflicts rises a new terror. The Umbrella Corporation and its crop of deadly viruses have been destroyed and shut down. But a new, more dangerous threat has emerged. Years after Chris Redfield survived the events in Raccoon City, he fights across the globe against the scourge of bio-organic weapons. Now Chris is a member of the Bio-terrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA) and is sent to Africa to investigate a biological agent that is transforming the population into aggressive and disturbing creatures. Together with another local BSAA agent, Sheva Alomar, these two must work together to uncover the truth behind the disturbing turn of events. With a new revolutionary cooperative gameplay mode, Resident Evil 5 allows players to experience fear together as terror rises from the shadows into the light of day.
