PAYDAY 2 is an action-packed cooperative shooter for four players, allowing players once again to don the masks of the original PAYDAY crew – Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf, and Chains – as they descend into Washington DC for an epic crime spree.

The new CRIMENET network offers a wide range of dynamic contracts, and players can freely choose anything from small shop visits or kidnappings to large-scale cybercrimes or emptying major bank vaults for this grand PAYDAY. When you're in DC, why not get involved in the local community and arrange a few political errands?

On heists, up to four friends collaborate, and as the team progresses, the jobs become bigger, better, and more rewarding. Along with earning more money and becoming a legendary criminal comes a new customisation and character creation system that allows crews to build and modify their own weapons and equipment.

  • Rob Banks with Friends – Players must carefully choose their crew, as when a job goes wrong, they will need the right combination of skills on their side.
  • CRIMENET – A dynamic database of contracts allows players to select from available jobs by connecting with local contacts, such as Vlad the Ukrainian, the shady politician “The Elephant”, and the South American drug dealer Hector, all with their own agendas and best interests in mind.
  • Weapon play and PAYDAY mechanics at a new level – shooting with weapons and zip-tying civilians has never felt so good.
  • Dynamic scenarios – No heist will play out the same way twice. Each individual scenario has random geometry or even rare events.
  • Choose Your Skills – As players progress, they can invest in any of the four special Skill Trees: Mastermind, Enforcer, Ghost, and Technician. Each contains a deep customisation tree related to skills and equipment that you can master, and can be combined to create the perfect heister.
  • More masks than ever before – PAYDAY 2 on Steam features a brand new mask system that allows players to create their own unique mask along with a pattern and colour combination.
  • Weapons and modifications – A brand new arsenal for serious robbers, including everything from sniper rifles and assault rifles to compact PDWs and SMGs. Once you’re satisfied with a favourite, you can modify it with optics, suppressors, grips, threaded crosshairs, barrels, frames, stocks, all of which affect your weapon's performance. There are also purely aesthetic upgrades – why not give your nine a drug lord look with a polished walnut grip?
  • Play It Your Way – Each job allows for multiple approaches, from slow and stealthy takedowns to running in with guns blazing. Hit the target however you wish, and watch the heist unfold.
