Pacific Drive is a first-person survival game with your car as your only companion. Each excursion into the wilderness presents unique and peculiar challenges as you restore and upgrade your car from an abandoned garage that serves as your home base. ONCE TO SURVIVE
It’s you and your station wagon against a relentless, cursed world. To stay alive, on the road and off, you’ll need more than just a new set of tyres. Your trusty vehicle can be upgraded and fortified to protect you, but the car will take a beating. Keep your fuel tank topped up and your panels intact to withstand the radiation permeating the zone. You’ll push the limits of your capabilities – making repairs on the fly, scavenging materials wherever you can, and fortifying your stronghold to deal with the many life-threatening dangers lurking in the shadows.
EXPLORE THE ZONE
Experimental remnants of the secret organisation ARDA remain scattered throughout the zone, and finding answers won’t be easy. Everywhere you look, you’ll find anomalies, incredible forces of twisted nature that complicate your path... or make it more interesting. Silhouettes in the dark, rolling heaps of scrap, and towering pillars of earth – every route is fraught with otherworldly dangers. As frightening as it may be, nothing compares to the overwhelming power of a zone storm. Step on the gas and run from it if you can – these swirling vortexes tear the landscape apart and obliterate anything that lingers too long. Don’t let it be you.

Check the map, pack some gear for the journey, and hit the road. Gather resources and collect data on the go; within the walls of the zone are all sorts of useful items. Return safely and use the trunk contents to upgrade your car and garage. Each time you venture out, new trials await: bizarre weather, unforgiving terrain, and experimental remnants. The golden rule in the zone is “nothing ventured, nothing gained” – some materials can only be found in the most dangerous locations. Be smart and don’t waste time – it’s going to be a long haul.
