Pacific Drive is a first-person survival game with your car as your only companion. ONCE TO SURVIVE
It’s you and your station wagon against a merciless, cursed world. To stay alive, both on and off the road, you will need more than just a new set of tyres. Your trusty vehicle can be upgraded and fortified to protect you, but the car will take a beating. Keep your fuel tank filled and your panels intact to withstand the radiation permeating the zone. You will push yourself to the limits – performing repairs on the go, scavenging materials wherever you can, and fortifying your base to deal with the many life-threatening dangers lurking in the shadows.
EXPLORE THE ZONE
Experimental remnants of the secret organisation ARDA remain scattered throughout the zone, and finding answers won’t be easy. Everywhere you look, you’ll find anomalies, incredible forces of twisted nature that make your journey more difficult... or interesting. Silhouettes in the dark, rolling heaps of scrap, and towering pillars of earth – every path is fraught with otherworldly dangers. As frightening as it may be, nothing compares to the overwhelming power of a zone storm. Step on the gas and run from it if you can – these swirling vortexes tear up the landscape and obliterate anything that lingers too long. Don’t let it be you.
REPEAT
Check the map, pack some gear for the journey, and hit the road. Collect resources and gather data on the go; within the walls of the zone are all sorts of useful items. Return safely and use the trunk contents to upgrade your car and garage. Each time you venture out, new trials await: bizarre weather, merciless terrain, and experimental remnants. The golden rule in the zone is “nothing ventured, nothing gained” – some materials can only be found in the most dangerous places. Be smart and don’t waste time – it will be a long run.
