Orten Was The Case – A logic/adventure game with free movement, where you play as a young man trapped in a time loop with the simple task of saving the world from literal destruction.

Prepare to step into the (non-existent) shoes of Ziggy - an unexpected hero from a fictional Swedish neighbourhood. Together, you will take on the challenging task of thwarting a sinister plan that could potentially devastate the entire world.

  • Trapped in a time loop
    Ziggy wakes up one day with a strange mark on his hand, with no idea of what happened the previous night. After a few minutes lost among the familiar streets of his suburb Orten, an explosion sends him right back to where he just woke up... Trapped in a time loop.
     
  • Not what it seems
    Without shoes and without memories of the past, he embarks on a mission to find out what the hell is going on and how to avoid the destruction of his town. However, this will not be easy, as the more he snoops in the wrong places, the more he discovers that his hometown holds many secrets. His strange neighbours become stranger, and he can rely only on his friends and his highly reliable brain.
     
  • Knowledge is power
    If the day repeats itself over and over, how can one progress? Herein lies the catch: Knowledge is the key to advancement in Orten. In every loop you go through, you will learn something new that will allow you to progress further in the story. With this time loop mechanic, you will keep track of clues, notes, and events on a timeline, and eventually, you will know how you can change the future in just 12 minutes on a casual Sunday.
     
  • We did it
    Who are they? The Midnight Council, I think. They seem to be the only ones one step ahead of you. What really happened in this town 40 years ago and how to escape the time loop and death?
