No Man's Sky is shaping up to be one of the biggest independent projects of the year. This game, a survival game in an open world from a first-person perspective, is the first independent game ever to be showcased at the central stage of the influential E3 conference.
No Man's Sky tasks players with exploring a universe consisting of over 18 quintillion planets! Each player will be able to decide their own fate by choosing where and how to travel, whether to engage in combat or not, and what else to focus their gathered resources on. In No Man's Sky, the sky truly seems to be the limit.
OPEN WORLD - 18 quintillion is a number that is almost impossible to wrap your head around. So many planets are available in No Man's Sky, each unique in its own way. Explore as many planets as possible and gather resources to upgrade your spaceship on your journey through the universe.
STORE INFORMATION IN THE ATLAS – Share your discoveries with other players by updating the Atlas, a special tool granted to every player of the game. When you find a new planet, share its coordinates in the Atlas and reap the rewards by being rewarded with in-game currency.
DON'T GET CAUGHT – Remember, you are not alone in this universe. Others may try to fight you, and stealing may not pay off. Stealing resources from a planet or harming life forms may attract the attention of Sentinels, who are tasked with protecting these planets. Always be vigilant to avoid trouble that may be closing in on you!
