Develop your settlement from humble beginnings, establishing orchards, farms, and workshops. Utilise their expertise to prepare for your next expedition as they expand the capabilities of your settlement. Hire guards and set traps to defend against the many dangers of the world. Sell your goods and use your wealth to trade with neighbouring settlements, acquiring much-needed equipment far sooner than would otherwise be possible.
EXPLORATION AND ADVENTURE
Whether you play alone or with a few friends, or even create a dedicated server for hundreds of players, the world of Necesse and its threats will adapt to provide a meaningful challenge. Explore freely or embark on specific quests as you face unique monsters scattered across various biomes. Will you be an archer, a melee champion, or a master of the magical arts? Will you establish separate competitive colonies with your friends, or pool your resources and divide roles to build a massive settlement together? When facing a tough boss, will you band together and create a carefully balanced party with strong synergies, or will you try to steal all the glory for yourself?
CUSTOMISE YOUR APPROACH
Chop down trees, mine and process ores, gather herbs, and harvest the bodies of defeated monsters to craft everything from walls and furniture to armour, potions, scrolls, trinkets, and weapons. While some unique equipment can only be obtained by defeating special enemies, everything else can be crafted through various workshops to equip yourself, your visiting friends, and your loyal settlers. Unlock additional equipment as you acquire new resources and discover countless ways to craft, build, and play – the endless combinations of equipment mean there is always something new to try.
Play how you want, customise the difficulty and several game rules to suit your preferences. If you dislike raiders appearing in your settlement, turn them off and tweak game rules such as the length of the day/night cycle or the difficulty of boss battles as you see fit. From parrots and penguins to denim lamps, ostrich horses, and unique clothing, Necesse offers countless options to explore.
