How IPL Technology Works
IPL light acts on the pigment of the hair during the growth phase. Since individual hairs are in different growth phases, it is not possible to achieve a visible change after one use. Treatments need to be repeated at regular intervals to gradually target a larger portion of active hairs.
Recommended Usage Schedule
Weeks 1–4: treatment 1× per week.
Weeks 5–8: continue 1× per week, hair growth gradually slows down.
Weeks 8–12: treatment as needed, significant reduction in growth occurs.
After 12 weeks: maintenance treatment 1× every few weeks according to individual growth.
Instructions for Use
Before treatment, shave hair to skin level. The skin must be clean, dry, and free of cosmetic products. Plug the device into the electrical outlet, turn it on and select the lowest energy level. Place the application window perpendicular to the skin and activate the light pulse. Proceed systematically over individual areas without reapplying to the same area during one treatment. After completing the application, you may use a moisturiser.
When Not to Use the Device
Do not use on irritated, injured or burnt skin. Do not apply on tattoos, moles, prominent pigmented spots or around the eyes. The device is not intended for use during pregnancy. Do not use on facial hair or moustaches. Do not use in areas with skin diseases at the application site.
Suitability by Skin and Hair Type
IPL technology is most suitable for light to medium-dark skin in combination with darker hair. It is not suitable for very dark skin or for very light, grey or white hairs, where there is insufficient pigment for effective light action.
Maintenance and Safety
After use, turn off the device and allow it to cool down. Clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not rinse the device under running water or immerse it in water. Store the device in a dry place out of reach of children.
