Lootbox Lyfe is a Metroidvania with progression in movement options. Save your kind by exploring a connected world full of platforming obstacles. Unlock new areas with new movement capabilities.

  • Utilise tight movement skills to soar through the world at maximum speed.
  • Explore 11 carefully crafted areas, from the rebel base on the mountainside to a garden infested with lootbox-induced mushrooms.
  • Collect hidden coins to purchase lootboxes and unlock hats with special upgrades.
  • Customise your appearance with various outfits and colours.
  • Explore a non-linear world with many possible paths. Your gameplay experience will almost certainly differ from your friend's.
  • 5–8 hours of gameplay to complete the game, and if you choose to play for 100%, you can opt for even more.
  • Speedrun-specific mode that facilitates grinding to become the best.
  • Many different ways to play with a variety of game modes.

You play as Liam Cappella, the last living Xoobot. You awaken from a long sleep to find that the world you once loved is in ruins. The culprit of this disaster? Lootboxes.

Shadowleaf Irvine introduced lootboxes to Liam's race, and soon everyone became accustomed to them. Xoobots slowly stopped spending money on essentials for life, such as food and water. Soon after, bodies began to fall.

Is there a way to restore this kind to its former glory? Or is this world forever in ruins due to Shadowleaf's monopolistic efforts?

Travel through a dangerous and stunning landscape and face a variety of hostile creatures, monsters, and Norse gods, while Kratos and Atreus seek answers.
