Le Mans Ultimate is the official game of the FIA World Endurance Championship and 24 Hours of Le Mans. Experience an exciting new era of sports car racing. Le Mans Ultimate offers immersive gameplay for both seasoned sim racers and newcomers to the sport and genre, growing and evolving with the real FIA WEC series.
Iconic Cars
Drive the latest Hypercars from the incredible centenary of 2023 – packed with the latest technologies. Relive thrilling track battles between Toyota, Ferrari, Porsche, Cadillac, Peugeot, Glickenhaus, and Vanwall.
Alongside Hypercars comes a competitive range of classes. Lock horns in head-to-head LMP2 competition and also in ultra-close, action-packed GTE cars. Strive for supremacy for renowned brands such as Aston Martin, Corvette, Ferrari, and Porsche.
From day one, 12 cars will be available with over 100 different colour variations.
Legendary Circuits
Enjoy the pulsating challenge of racing on some of the most recognised circuits in the world, including seven destinations in the 2023 calendar: Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Sebring International Raceway, Bahrain International Circuit, Algarve International Circuit (Portimão), Fuji Speedway, and the legendary – Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans – the ultimate venue for racing experience.
The Power is in Your Hands
Le Mans Ultimate utilises cutting-edge physics and handling simulation DNA from pMotor 2.5, as used and improved from rFactor2 – and builds on this foundation, making the game more accessible and user-friendly for the community with quality-of-life enhancements – removing barriers to entry while maintaining key core elements of sim racing.
The game will feature an optional difficulty level – allowing players to set their own skill level with beginner assistance enabling adjustable aids. Language localisation is also available for English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish speakers. A concise and clear user interface (UI), easily understandable head-up display (HUD), and broadcast-style track elements are also features of the game, immersing players in the official FIA WEC and Le Mans experience.
Let the Battle Begin!
For those seeking an edge-of-the-seat experience, head-to-head competition against real drivers will be the Online feature, powered by the RaceControl system, home to this pulsating challenge. Upon launch, racers will be able to participate in ranked daily races, which will be held regularly throughout the day. This will provide an opportunity to build driver and safety ratings – in the future it will offer further opportunities as players unlock higher-rated races and exclusive events as the game evolves and grows alongside the real FIA World Endurance Championship.
The Ultimate Race Weekend
Racing game fans will kick off their Le Mans Ultimate journey either in Offline Race Weekend or Online. The Race Weekend will provide the perfect starting point for every racer as they select a player profile Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced according to their racing simulation experience.
This area of the game will be an opportunity to tackle exotic machines, improve car setups, and learn the circuits while crafting their own FIA WEC race weekend – participating in practice, qualifying, and the main race – customising the time of day, session duration, and weather conditions to their liking.
Running on Real Ground
Le Mans Ultimate will utilise advancements in track simulation development Real Road 2.0, unique to Studio 397 titles. Just like in a real racing session, the track at the beginning of the weekend will start as a green, relatively unmaintained circuit and rubber in as more cars cross the racing line – with cars carrying dust, dirt, and marbles off-line. Work is being done in several areas, including dynamic weather effects such as precipitation and dirt on windshields and more realistic water flow and puddle formation on the circuit. Cars will also evolve with the race, as accumulated dirt and debris cover the vehicle, giving it an authentic weathered appearance.
