Instruments of Destruction features an advanced physics-based destruction system. With a fully interactive physics engine, you can demolish every building in the game piece by piece, and every object in the world interacts with destruction in some way. The game also includes an advanced GPU-driven particle system and GPU-driven grass and surface rocks. Every element of the world complements the destruction system, influencing each other and together creating a physical, visceral world for you to play in.
Build your vehicle your way with an ever-expanding array of parts and components. With an intuitive vehicle construction system that also allows you to customise the appearance and handling of your vehicles, you will always have fun creating your next amazing invention.
From simple splitters and joints to fully simulated treads and cables, there is a wide range of parts available to kickstart your game, while more advanced components (like giant chainsaws and rocket thrusters) unlock as you play. Each new part unlocks countless new possibilities, and you will also unlock numerous pre-built vehicles that highlight the unlocked parts and provide inspiration for further experimentation.
While some vehicles may perform better than others in achieving your goals, it is always a bit more fun to be creative and break away from the script. Optional bonus objectives and other hidden rewards will reward more creative builders and add further replayability. Each island offers 3 game modes (Normal, Challenge, and Expert), and the Sandbox mode allows you to play without restrictions and with even greater control over how the world behaves.
