The glucose meter uses a calibration sample of venous plasma and operates reliably within an HCT range of 35–50%. The test strips have a long shelf life, with an expiry of up to 24 months, allowing for prolonged use without the stress of rapid depletion. The device is made from medical-grade PVC, and its design is intended to make usage simple and comfortable. The package also includes a lancing device (auto-lancet), 50 test strips, and 50 lancets. A battery is not included, allowing you to choose your preferred power source.
