The next chapter of the Gears of War saga is almost here! Gears 4 offers the same gritty and intense combat experience that defined the series. Fight your way through the single-player campaign as JD Fenix; you can even invite a friend to join you in cooperative campaign mode online or on split-screen. There is online ranked gameplay against other players, a 4-player survival mode, and plenty of new content to explore. Gears of War 4 is also an Xbox Play Anywhere title, meaning players can play on Xbox and PC with a single account.
New Gear(s) - Gears of War 4 introduces several sweet new additions to the familiar arsenal. There are new weapons with serious style and a sweet combat knife that allows for various close-up executions. Combat is enhanced with a host of new moves and close-quarters attacks that bring a new strategy to the familiar Gears gameplay. Oh, and when you tire of the basic heroes, you can play as El-P. and Killer Mike from Run The Jewels. #lup
Horde 3.0 Enabled – One of the most dangerous features of Gears 4 is the revamped Horde mode. Horde 3.0 allows players to customise their base using materials from the Fabricator. This should add a serious strategic element to the core survival game. There are five unique classes to choose from, and levelling up these classes provides access to additional skills and upgrades. Additionally, you can pick up powerful cards in the vault or during gameplay.
Step It Up! - Once you master the new Gears 4 game in single-player, head online and try out the new versus multiplayer. There are old favourites and some new additions to the competitive game types. All online play runs at 60 frames per second and allows competitive, casual, and professional players to compete within a visual and fair ranking system. Whether you’re a master racer on PC or a die-hard console player, there’s serious competition in Gears of War 4.
