Gamedec is a non-combat cyberpunk isometric RPG for a single player. You are a game detective solving crimes in virtual worlds. Use your wits and gather information from your witnesses and suspects, penetrate the depths of deceptive plans, save lives, and explore the extraordinary relationships between virtual worlds and their inhabitants. The game constantly adapts to your choices and never judges – You are the sum of your options.

Welcome to Warsaw in the 22nd century. The technology of the future is so advanced that the term “real” is relative, and “life” and “death” have many meanings. Virtual worlds evoke problems of human nature: lust, laziness, envy, and pride. The inhabitants of these virtual gaming worlds need specialists – Gamedecs – private detectives experienced in these worlds, who work to uncover secrets and explore the mechanisms hidden in these realities for the benefit of your clients. You are one of them. You are a Gamedec.

Gamedec mimics the nature of tabletop RPGs by focusing on character development through decision-making. Gather aspects and create your unique set of professions that will allow you to conduct investigations in a way that suits your style. Discover the extraordinary relationships between virtual worlds and their inhabitants through the information gathered in the codex.

Just like in classic tabletop RPGs, you have the freedom to approach situations from multiple angles instead of forcing a single solution – the choice is entirely yours.

  • Communicate with NPCs to gather information and access various dialogue options depending on your choices, developed profession, and acquired knowledge.
  • Visit numerous virtual worlds – from deceptive environments like farms, through dark noir cyberpunk realities, to realms based on fantasy.
  • Use your codex and deduction to decipher facts and evidence to close the case. Find your own answer and respond according to your own ethics, integrity, or just a sense of poetic justice.
  • Shape your character through actions that provide positive or negative effects – determine how you want others to perceive you by selecting traits that match your play style. Develop your own Gamedec through your decisions, choices, and actions.
  • Meet various characters in Realiu and Virtualiu, who may be friendly or hostile – depending on your decisions throughout the game.
