Customs Duties and Charges

Shipments within the EU

If you order goods from one EU Member State to another, you do not need to worry about any customs duties – no customs charges are applied within the European Union’s single market.

Orders outside the EU

A different situation applies when importing goods from countries outside the EU or when exporting goods. In such cases, customs duties may be imposed. The amount varies from country to country and depends on a number of factors (for example, the nature of the goods or their value). For this reason, it is not possible to determine the exact amount in advance. If you require specific information, we recommend contacting the relevant customs authority in your country.

Refund of paid customs duties

If customs duties were charged on your order, you may request a refund from our customer service. The condition is that you first pay the customs duties and provide us with proof of payment. Please contact us at info@lunzo.ie and include all available documentation so that we can process your request as quickly as possible.

Order cancellation and customs duties

If you decide to cancel your order and return the goods, customs duties unfortunately cannot be refunded by Lunzo. In such cases, you must contact your local customs authority, which may assist you with submitting a claim for a refund.

If you have already received a refund of the customs duties and subsequently return the goods themselves, you will be refunded only the order value reduced by the amount corresponding to the customs duties already reimbursed. If you wish to apply for a refund of VAT from the customs authority, we will be happy to issue you with confirmation of the return of the goods.

Customs clearance and its impact on delivery

Customs clearance itself is part of the import process. In most cases, it is completed quickly – within a few days. However, it may take longer, for example if the shipment is selected for a more detailed inspection or during busy periods such as Christmas.

It is important to note that our stated delivery times do not include the time required for customs clearance.

Special import permits

Some products are subject to specific regulations in the destination country and may require special permits for import. If this occurs, please contact us – we will assist you with the next steps. However, Lunzo is not responsible for any restrictions or delays arising from this.
