BE THE LORD OF YOUR DOMAIN
From your castle – the seat of operations – recruit, equip, and train your soldiers to fight against all who threaten the kingdom. Assemble units according to the requirements of each mission, then set out to find the source of evil and thwart the nefarious plans of the Order in brutal turn-based combat. Your management and strategic skills will be put to the test. Manage your resources wisely to help your domain thrive, and plan your crew's excursions by selecting the missions you will tackle.
When the world is on the brink of collapse, there can be only one solution: The Order must be defeated.

FIGHT WITH DARKNESS AND SPIRIT

  • Revisited Hundred Years' War: Explore 14th century France and the martial arts of the time, iconic figures such as Nicolas Flamel and Edward of Woodstock, as well as faithfully recreated weapons. Crown Wars: The Black Prince adds a unique element to this medieval setting: a story involving dark magic and the occult that influences gameplay.
  • Prevent the Order from expanding its influence and restore your reputation: Engage in missions against members of the cult of the Order to thwart their plans and prevent them from dominating the kingdom in a long-term campaign that blends history and dark fantasy.
  • Rebuild your domain: Upgrade up to 7 buildings and restore your estate to its former glory. Create new weapons, concoct new potions, and craft new items for use in battle.
  • Tactical combat in the purest tradition of the genre: Assemble a crew of 6 soldiers of various classes and optimise your moves in the game by making the best use of their skills, their synergies, and the terrain. Showcase your tactical intelligence in a deep game that pays homage to the cult classic of this genre.

ASSEMBLE YOUR PERFECT PARTY

  • 6 playable classes: Crusader, Alchemist, Beastmaster, Flayer, Duelist, and Gunner, each with unique skills and preferred weapons. Heavy armour, battle-trained bears, explosive bottles... discover the synergies of your companions to fight in battles as effectively as possible.
  • Upgrade your soldiers: Train up to 32 companions to unlock new skills and devastating attacks. Enhance their mastery of weapons by choosing from an extensive available arsenal.
  • Fully customisable companions: Modify the name and appearance of your soldiers to give them their own identity.
  • Redeem your war captives: Capture live enemies and turn them into prisoners. Each prisoner has one or more effects that grant bonuses to your companions or buildings. It is up to you to decide whether to keep them and their bonus effects or to free them in exchange for a ransom.
  • Every battle is different: Embark on missions across the French kingdom to capture your enemies, eliminate members of the Order, and escort important figures.
  • Brutal action: Unleash your signature abilities and perform gruesome executions.
