In the past, you will witness a world ravaged by The Change, a catastrophic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the desolate wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test your reflexes and tactical thinking.
You are a Traveller working for a mysterious Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future for time rifts that will transport you to 1980s Poland.
In a barren world filled with constant danger, your survival depends on your ability to strategise and plan ahead. The enemies you encounter are nightmares, birthed from the remnants of humanity – to defeat them, you will need to fully utilise your arsenal.
You can manipulate time anomalies to clear your path through the desolate environment, and you will need to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammunition and supplies. Good preparation is key. In battle, decisions made in the blink of an eye can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill will not stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others – through a grotesque process known as Merging – becoming faster, stronger, and much deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it quickly.
If you do not, you will face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.
Your task is to find key figures from the past who perished in the subsequent apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be careful: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunting your suit becomes – enhancing your prowess on the battlefield, but also bringing whispers to your ear and flickering in your field of vision, drawing you ever closer to madness.
