Call of Duty is back and redefines warfare like you have never experienced before. Call of Duty: World at War builds on the engine of Call of Duty 4®: Modern Warfare and immerses players in the most daring and chaotic battles of the Second World War ever encountered. Players will band together to survive the harshest and most climactic battles that led to the downfall of the Axis powers on the European and Pacific fronts. The title offers an uncensored experience with unique enemies and various types of combat, including Kamikaze fighters, ambush attacks, Banzai charges, and clever cover tactics, as well as explosive action on screen within a completely new cooperative campaign for four players. The addictive competitive multiplayer has also been enhanced with new infantry and vehicle-based action, a higher level cap, more weapons, and a range of new perks, maps, and challenges.

Play as an American Marine and a Russian conscript in various Pacific and European locations against fearless Imperial Japanese and elite German soldiers in epic adrenaline-fueled infantry, vehicle, and airborne missions.
  • Cooperative campaign mode, Call of Duty style: Call of Duty: World at War introduces cooperative gameplay for the first time in the franchise, bringing new meaning to “No One Fights Alone”. The co-op campaign offers up to four players online, allowing players to experience the harrowing campaign missions together for better camaraderie and tactical execution. The co-op mode includes innovative multiplayer components such as challenges, rankings, and online statistics for better replayability and multiplayer bonuses. The co-op mode also features Competitive Co-Op, which will showcase who is truly the best player on your team.
