COD: Black Ops II will boast improved graphics, making it the most visually stunning game in the entire Call of Duty series. The setting is no longer the Cold War, but the near future, the 21st century, where technology and weaponry have merged to create a new generation of warfare.
 
The single-player mode will now feature a branching campaign based on the choices you make, giving you more opportunities to revisit your missions and decide on different outcomes each time. The multiplayer mode promises one thing – the same, but better!

  • Call of Duty Black Ops 2 takes place in the near future, spanning the 1980s and 2025, and brings you into conflict between the USA and China. The mission will be complicated by the fact that former CIA agent " Raul Menendez " has decided to betray his employer and take control of the American military infrastructure. Now equipped with an army of drones belonging to the US military, Raul Menendez will attack the United States on their own territory!
  • In this second installment of Call of Duty Black Ops we will embody two different characters depending on the time period, Alex Mason and his son David. Missions will take place in various locations such as Central America, Afghanistan, Singapore, Yemen, or Los Angeles... During your adventure in 2025, the player will utilise the best of the best in terms of futuristic military hardware.
  • In multiplayer, game developers Call of Duty Black Ops 2 have worked hard. Firstly, a new “Create a class” system is born, allowing you to create up to 10 different combinations of items, taking customisation to a new level. Players will also have access to a “competitive” mode, streaming options, and various tools for broadcasting the game to the world. All these innovations show that Call of Duty Black Ops 2 aims to be one of the biggest players in the e-sports scene in the coming years.
  • As for the zombie mode, developers have announced three different game modes. The first mode is called “Transit”, in this mode up to four players can play on a large map full of things to see and discover... and of course, plenty of zombies... ride the bus to travel quickly from one sector to another, which also increases your chances of being caught by a horde of zombies. "Transit" offers in some respects an "adventure" style similar to Left 4 Dead , but on a larger map.
  • The second game mode is the classic “Survival”, where we will have to fight against hordes of zombies in enclosed levels. It is good to know that the levels are actually part of the large map mode " Transit " cut and adapted for this game mode.
  • Finally, the last major novelty is the “Grief” mode, which is like the “Survival” mode, but this time between two teams of 4 players and hordes of zombies. In this game mode, players cannot kill each other, but they can try to trap the opposing team to help them die. A lot of fun is coming!
