BIOMUTANT is a post-apocalyptic RPG with an open world and legendary kung-fu style, offering a unique martial arts combat system that allows you to combine melee fighting, shooting, and action elements with mutant abilities.

Plague is ravaging the land and the Tree of Life is bleeding death from its roots. Tribes are divided. Explore a world torn by chaos and determine its fate – will you be its saviour, or will you lead it to an even darker destiny?

  • NEW PERSPECTIVE ON THIRD-PERSON COMBAT
    The martial arts-style combat system provides maximum freedom of movement and agility while combining shooting, melee combat, and the powers from your mutations. Learning new wushu fighting forms through progression and learning from the masters you meet constantly expands your options and ensures that combat never gets old.
     
  • ENHANCE YOUR GAME
    You will be able to recode your genetic structure, changing your appearance and playstyle. This will, of course, affect your attributes, and in addition, exposure to biocontamination in the world will lead to physical mutations, such as mantis claws and spiked tails, while exposure to radioactivity found in old-world bunkers will affect your mind and unlock psi-mutations like telekinesis, levitation, and more.
     
  • ANOTHER LEVEL OF CREATION
    When crafting weapons, you have complete freedom. Combine individual parts to create your own unique slicing, crushing, and piercing melee weapons with 1H or 2H performance. Revolvers, rifles, and shotguns can be enhanced with modifications such as drills and battery modules with chainsaws, turning bottles of biologically contaminated sludge into expanded combat arsenals. You will even encounter characters who can craft great items for you, such as bionic wings, a jumppack, and even allow you to customise your Automaton - your trash toy companion!
     
  • GET READY FOR ADVENTURE
    You have complete freedom when equipping your character. Not only in terms of the weapons you have crafted but also regarding the type of gear you will wear. Equip yourself with a gas mask and oxygen tank for exploring the Dead Zones, thermal-resistant clothing for entering cryonic areas, or protective gear for battling biologically contaminated creatures – the choice is yours.
     
  • SURVIVE IN A VIBRANT OPEN WORLD
    You can freely explore the world and what lies beneath its surface on foot, by robot, jet ski, balloon, or by utilising unique terrain mounts. Explore the dying wilderness, tunnels, and bunkers in the underworld, and find your way into the mountains or to the archipelago. In this pulsating and colourful world, a plethora of discoveries, mysteries to unravel, creatures to battle, and strange characters to meet await you.
     
  • UNUSUAL STORY WITH AN UNUSUAL ENDING
    Your actions play a key role in unfolding the story, where the End is approaching the New World. Plague is ravaging the land and the Tree of Life is bleeding death from its roots. The tribes are divided and need someone strong enough to unite them, or bring them all to their knees...
    You will be guided through the world by a Narrator who tells every step of your journey, but how your survival story ends will be determined by your actions and choices.
