BIOMUTANT is a post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu RPG with an open world, featuring a unique martial arts-style combat system that allows you to combine melee actions, shooting, and mutant abilities.

Plague is ravaging the land and the Tree-of-Life is bleeding death from its roots. Tribes are divided. Explore the world in chaos and determine its fate – will you become its saviour, or lead it to an even darker destiny?

  • NEW PERSPECTIVE ON 3RD PERSON COMBAT
    The martial arts-style combat system gives you maximum freedom of movement and agility when mixing shooting, melee combat, and the powers of your mutations. Learning new Wushu fighting forms through progression and learning from masters you encounter will constantly expand your options and ensure that combat never grows stale.
     
  • EVOLVE YOUR GAME
    You will be able to recode your genetic structure to change how you look and play. This will of course affect your attributes, and in addition, exposure to biological contamination in the world will lead to physical mutations such as mantis arms and spiked tails, while exposure to radioactivity found in old world bunkers will affect your mind and unlock psi-mutations like telekinesis, levitation, and more.
     
  • ANOTHER LEVEL OF CRAFTING
    When crafting weapons, you are completely free. Mix and match parts to create your own unique 1H or 2H slashing, crushing, and piercing melee weapons. Revolvers, rifles, and shotguns, and add modifications such as drills and battery-powered chainsaw modules to vials of biologically contaminated sludge to enhance your combat arsenal. There are even characters you will meet who will create great things for you, such as bionic wings, a jump pack, and even allow you to customise your Automaton – a helper made from scrap!
     
  • GET READY FOR ADVENTURE
    When equipping your character, you have complete freedom. Not only in terms of the weapons you have created, but also in the type of gear you wear. Equip yourself with a gas mask and oxygen tank for exploring dead zones, thermally resistant clothing for entering cryonic areas, or protective gear for fighting biologically contaminated creatures; the choice is yours.
     
  • SURVIVE IN A LIVING OPEN WORLD
    You can freely explore the world and what lies beneath its surface, on foot, mechanically, by jet ski, balloon, or at unique habitats. Explore the dying wilderness, tunnels, and networks of bunkers in the underworld and find your way into the mountains or out to the archipelago. In this pulsating and vibrant world, there are plenty of discoveries to be made, mysteries to uncover, creatures to face, and strange characters to meet.
     
  • UNUSUAL STORY WITH AN UNUSUAL ENDING
    Your actions play a key role in developing the story as the End approaches the New World. Plague is ravaging the land and the Tree-of-Life is bleeding death from its roots. Tribes stand divided, needing someone strong enough to unite them or bring them all down...
    You will be guided through the world by a Narrator who tells every step of your journey, but it is your actions and choices that will determine how your survival story ends.
