Batman™: Arkham Origins is the next installment in the successful video game series Batman: Arkham. Developed by WB Games Montréal, the game features an expanded Gotham City and presents an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, the first two critically acclaimed games in this franchise. Set before the rise of Gotham City's most dangerous criminals, the game introduces a young and inexperienced Batman who faces a pivotal moment in his early career as a crimefighter, setting him on the path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, players will encounter many key characters for the first time and forge crucial relationships.

  • The Arkham Story Begins: Batman: Arkham Origins features an entirely new single-player campaign written by Dooma Wendschuh and Corey May with consultation from Geoff Johns. Players will become Batman at the start of his career as he encounters many supervillains who shape his future for the first time.
  • Enhanced Detective Mode: Batman’s detective skills are tested like never before with a completely new crime scene system that allows players to sift through evidence to find key information. Players use Batman's Cowl and Bat Computer to digitally recreate the crime scene, enabling them to follow trails that normal eyes would miss.
  • Gotham City Like Never Before: Explore areas of Gotham City before its transformation into Arkham City and experience all-new areas and other iconic locations. Dynamic and rich environments are filled with various enemies, “ongoing crimes,” and additional content that encourages exploration and player engagement.
  • Most Wanted Side Missions: Hunt down villains connected to the main story but not part of it. It is up to the player's discretion whether and when they want to complete these threads.
  • New Gadgets: Utilise an arsenal of familiar gadgets from previous Batman: Arkham games as well as new items such as the Remote Claw. Batman can take down enemies using the remote claw to tether enemies to each other or to objects in the environment for quick takedowns.
  • New and Familiar Characters: Meet the full cast of iconic DC Comics characters including Black Mask, Penguin, Deathstroke, Bane, Anarky, Captain Gordon, The Joker, and more.
