Assetto Corsa features an advanced DirectX 11 graphic engine that recreates an immersive environment, dynamic lighting, and realistic materials and surfaces. The advanced physics engine is designed to provide a highly realistic driving experience, including features and aspects of real cars that have never been seen in any other racing simulator, such as tyre defects, thermal cycles including grains and blisters, very advanced aerodynamic simulation with actively moving aerodynamic parts controlled in real-time using telemetry input channels, hybrid systems with KERS and energy recovery simulation. Extremely detailed with options for single-player and multiplayer, exclusive licensed cars reproduced with the best possible accuracy, thanks to official collaborations with car manufacturers.
ASSETTO CORSA has been developed at the KUNOS Simulazioni research and development office located directly at the international racing circuit in Vallelung, allowing the team to develop the game in collaboration with real racing drivers and teams.
LEGENDARY TRACKS
The circuits have been developed using laser scanning technology to ensure the highest possible level of accuracy in reproducing the real motorsport environment.
Monza, Silverstone, Imola, Mugello, Spa, Brands Hatch and many other tracks, including the historical reproduction of Monza, which brings back the legendary Sopraelevatu, a high-speed oval where races were held until 1961.
