When she left Earth, Ellen Ripley promised her daughter Amanda that she would return home for her 11th birthday. Amanda never saw her again.

Fifteen years later, Amanda, now an employee of Weyland-Yutani, learns that the flight recorder of her mother’s ship, Nostromo, has been found on a distant trading station, Sevastopol. The temptation to finally understand what happened is too great to resist. When the crew arrives at Sevastopol, they discover that something is desperately wrong. It seems all connected to an unknown threat, stalking and killing deep in the shadows.

To uncover the truth about her mother, Amanda is forced to confront the same terrifying thing that separated them.
