A great deity created a world named Engardin and before departing left behind four Goliaths. The Goliaths adhered to their various divine callings and upheld the order and flow of this world. Thus, lives in Engardin were reincarnated and multiplied.
Humans were the last creation, and their ever-expanding ambitions led to a protracted war against the Goliaths. Engardin was engulfed in flames until a massive explosion known as “The Razing” devastated the Holy Lands of humanity and brought a swift end to the conflict. But the divine order was broken and lives dried up. The age of humanity came to an end.
Survivors of the conflict scattered across Engardin. Cut off from the Well of Humanity and unable to reincarnate, they banded together and formed settlements. Years passed since this great cataclysm, and the remaining human enclaves were suddenly attacked by mystical forces. Renee, a young girl with amnesia and a student of Aros, was the sole survivor of the attack on her village. Determined to restore her forgotten memories and find her lost mentor, she bids farewell to her destroyed village to embark on a journey that will inexplicably set in motion a series of events that will determine the fate of this new world.
