Adios is a cinematic first-person game about clinging to a difficult decision.
You are a pig farmer in Kansas. It is October. Cold and crisp mornings are the norm, and you have decided that you no longer want to let the scum use your pigs to dispose of bodies. When your old friend – a hitman – arrives with his assistant to deliver another body, you finally gather the courage to tell them that you are done.
Your friend does not want you to stop. He knows that there is no such thing as stopping, and so he tries to convince you that you are making a mistake. You spend the day together, doing chores and exploring the nooks of an authentic Midwestern American setting alongside the man who will be forced to kill you if he cannot convince you to stay.
How you respond will determine the rest of your life.
